Use this form to inquire with the National Archives about citizenship of the Estonian Republic from 1918 to 1940.

Important: When submitting your enquiry, please include as much detailed information about the person as possible: their name, date and place of birth, names of their parents or other close relatives, where they lived and worked between 1918 and 1940 etc.

Please note: the state fee for archival notices related to the attestation of rights and transactions is 15 euros, as mandated by the Law on State Fee (§ 346). After reviewing your enquiry, we will send you an invoice for the state fee payment. Expect a response within 30 days of payment.
