In Saaga, relevant green information button after the title of the registers of parishioners (in Estonian: personaalraamatud, in singular: personaalraamat) shows which books have been indexed and which names are in the database from that specific book.
The database refers to the file (physical book) page number and not always to Saaga picture number. Only some picture numbers have been added since the beginning and everyone is welcome to add more picture numbers.
Please check prior to sending the error message, whether it has to do with the multiple numbering of the pages. It might be that the reference is to another numeration than you initially noticed.
Maiden names are included in about half of the books that have been indexed. Indexes are made by voluntary people and everyone can volunteer. Only indexes of whole books are accepted. If interested, please contact project manager Fred Puss: fred@isik.ee. Do not start indexing without guidance if you want to share your results with the project.
