In May of 2014 Laani graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax, where she majored in textile and fashion design with a minor in art history. Laani is continuing her work with textiles independently, while also taking further courses in graphic design at OCAD University in Toronto.
